 As Australia’s Qantas Wallabies prepare for their campaign to dominate the 2012 Rugby Test Series, excitement grows amongst staff and guests at the Willoughby Hotel. With a strong Rugby heritage within the local community; Rugby is well engrained into the hotel’s culture.
Venue manager, John McGurk said; “The early start to the 2012 Wallabies circuit this year means Rugby fans will get a taste of the International action ahead of the London Games. We have many rugby fans here at the hotel, and are excited to be able to offer a place to come together and watch all games live. With local rugby sponsors Chatswood and Gordon Rugby Clubs frequent visitors to the hotel during the Rugby season, games on show here at the hotel have a heightened atmosphere.”
The Willoughby Hotel will be screening all Wallabies matches live on the big screen. With the support of partner Tooheys, the hotel will be offering customers the chance to win a double pass to the Wallabies V Wales test to be held on the 23rd June at the Allianz Stadium. Also on offer will be a $12 steak and Hahn Super Dry meal special available to all customers on game nights.
The first test kicks off at 7:30pm on Tuesday 5th June. The Wallabies take to the field to against Scotland who are expected to bring plenty of intensity to the June tour. June tests include:
